Department of Homeland Security's SAFETY Act Designation for Anti-Terrorism.

(ASI) today announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has
designated ASI's Extreme Loading for Structures (ELS) software as a qualified
anti-terrorism technology. Included in the technology designation are training and
ASI consulting services regarding its use and implementation for decision makers
determining structural vulnerabilities.

Extreme Loading technology improves current vulnerability assessment practices by
providing 3D structurally engineered visuals and scenario simulations to decision
makers during the assessment process. This, in turn, creates assessment teams that
are better equipped to make decisions regarding architecture, structure, perimeters
and other critical infrastructure exposed to acts of terrorism or natural disasters.

ELS visuals now allow first responders to become integral participants in the
development of threat scenarios for crisis management planning. ELS software aids in
the design, analysis, protection, retrofit and demolition of structures, and it is
the only structural analysis tool that provides the capability to simulate
everything from a local failure to the global response of the structure. A Special
